Ingredients for Shobiyet Dessert Recipe
For the inner mortar:
  • 2.5 cups of milk
  • 1.5 tablespoons of semolina
  • 1.5 tablespoons of granulated sugar
  • 1 cup of crushed walnuts
For Sherbet:
  • 4 glasses of water
  • 3.5 cups of sugar
  • 1/2 lemon juice
For the dough:
  • 5-6 cups of flour (can be increased according to consistency)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup yogurt
  • 1/2 cup of water
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon of baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup of starch (to open the dough)
  • 1 tea glass of pistachio (for over)
The Trick of the Recipe for Shobiyet Dessert

In recipes where the syrup and the product are hot, the desired product is softened with the syrup. However, when the product like this is hot, the syrup is provided to be crispy.

How to Make a Shobiyet Dessert Recipe?
Preparation of Sherbet:

1-Boil the water and sugar on the stove.

2-Add lemon juice to boiling sherbet and boil it for 1-2 minutes until it becomes more concentrated.

3-Remove the sherbet from the stove to cool.

Preparation of Dough:

1-Add flour, eggs, yogurt, baking soda, olive oil, water and other ingredients.

2-Knead the dough until smooth.

3-Divide it into 24 pieces and let it rest for 1 hour with a clean cloth.

Preparation of Internal Mortar:

1-Cook until milk, semolina and granulated sugar custard.

Preparation of the Şöbiyet Dessert:

1-Thin the rest of the dough to be the size of a tray.

2-Add 12 of them together by adding starch.

3-Thin the rolling pin and thin the dough together.

4-Divide the dough that joins together into equal squares. The size of these frames is up to your taste.

5-Set the oven to 180 degrees.

6-Put 1 teaspoon of walnut, 1 teaspoon of semolina filling in the prepared squares and place it in a tray with greaseproof paper so that the mouth is not opened.

7-Cook until golden brown and remove and pour cold syrup. Pour Pistachio over it and serve. That’s it.
