Hello, Baklava Lovers! During these quarantine days we stay in homes due to coronavirus ( Covid-19 ), we share with you the pistachio baklava recipe, a delicious surprise for your family.



Baklava, a thin dough, plenty of pistachio, sherbet would be complete consistency. After the phrase “Let’s eat dessert, talk sweetly”, baklava is the dessert that is consumed with pleasure and melted in the palate.

We accept, it’s a little tiring to do. But we are not longing for the homemade baklava that cheers our stomach and smells like butter. Let’s step by step how to make pistachio baklava? Let’s make the pistachio baklava recipe together.

Ingredients for Pistachio Baklava Recipe

For Stretch out dough

1 cup starch


For the dough:

5 cups of flour
3 eggs
7 tablespoons of melted butter
1.5 cups of oil
1/2 cup yogurt
1 teaspoon of vinegar
1/2 cup of water
1 teaspoon of baking soda

For the inside:

300 grams of pistachios

For the syrup:

2.5 cups of granulated sugar
3 cups of water
Juice of 1/4 lemon

For over and above:

300 grams of melted butter



Tricks of Pistachio Baklava Recipe

Make sure the syrup is warm and the baklava is hot. Take care to open the floors as thin as you can.

How to Make Pistachio Baklava Recipe ?

To prepare the dough:

1- Transfer flour into a deep bowl. Open the pool in the middle and break the eggs.

2- Then add melted butter, oil, yogurt, vinegar and baking soda.

3- Start kneading by adding water gradually. Get a dough that does not stick to the hand.

4- Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rest at room temperature for about 40 minutes.

For the syrup:

1- Put the water and sugar in a deep saucepan.

2- Let the sugar melt by mixing. When it starts to boil, add the lemon juice.

3- After boiling in this way for a while, remove it from the stove and let it rest at room temperature.




Opening and joining the dough:

1- After cutting the rest of dough into twenty equal pieces, gently starch the counter. Then, start spreading the width of your tray by sprinkling starch over the meringues.

2- After applying the same process to all the cloths, grease the bottom of your baking tray with melted butter.

3- Divide the dough you open into two, the top and bottom. Start spreading the first layers and spread melted butter between them.

4- Put peanuts in the middle. After removing the other layers and applying melted butter between them, gently divide them into squares with a knife.

5- After adding the remaining butter, bake in the oven heated at 180 degrees for 20-25 minutes.

6- Take it out and give the warm baklava with warm sherbet. Serve after taking.
